At last week’s summer party at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Startup Port@TUHH celebrated a special premiere together with TUTECH: the award ceremony for the newly launched competition for start-up ideas.
It was with great pleasure that the “Innolyze” team, which was able to prevail against other impressive ideas, was announced as the winner. The team, consisting of Dr. Daniel Auge, Jan Philipp Weiland and Nils Albrecht, impressed the jury with a pioneering solution for monitoring and predictive maintenance of railroad infrastructure. Their technology helps to make maintenance processes more efficient, minimize failures and significantly increase safety in rail transport.
The competition is aimed at everyone associated with the TU Hamburg – be it students, professors, employees from science and administration, or graduates. The aim is to promote innovative concepts that are still in the early stages of founding a company.
The success of the prospective founders shows how important it is to support young people with a start-up idea, as well as the exchange and networking within the Hamburg university scene. A competition is an additional motivation to believe in your own start-up idea and to develop it further. Congratulations to the Innolyze team on this premiere.
The competition was organized by the startup Port@TUHH in collaboration with TUTECH Innovation GmbH. The initiative was supported by the cooperation partner TEMPOWERK, represented by Christoph Birkel, who donated the prize endowed with 500 euros. The certificate was presented to the winning team together with Professor Andreas Timm-Giel, President of TU Hamburg.
The Startup Port@TUHH is looking forward to continuing to accompany young founders on their way and to awarding the next innovative idea from Hamburg’s scientific community together with TUTECH in 2026.
