The Hamburg start-up Traceless<\/a> will move its production into the former bakery of Backhaus Wedemann before the end of this year. This confirms that the south of Hamburg is an attractive location for new industries and innovative, up-and-coming start-ups in northern Germany. Traceless was accompanied and supported in its start-up phase by the Startup Port’s consulting services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traceless stands for an impressive development in the field of sustainable materials. Founded in 2020 by Anne Lamp and Johanna Baare, the young company specializes in researching and developing innovative processes to replace conventional plastics with environmentally friendly alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It uses plant residues and CO\u2082 to produce so-called “climate oils” – a process that has the potential to fundamentally change the packaging and plastics industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A demonstration plant is now being built at the new production site in Harburg, which will enable the next stage of industrial production. With a team of 80 employees and partnerships with major companies such as Otto, Lufthansa, C&A and Mondi, Traceless is on a promising growth trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jakob R\u00f6skamp, Managing Director of Traceless, emphasizes in an interview with the Hamburger Abendblatt<\/a>: “Our development is characterized by innovation and the desire to create sustainable solutions for industry. Harburg is the perfect location for us to further develop our technologies and bring them into industrial application.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
