The Hamburg-based FinTech company Flexvelop recently completed a successful financing round and received a total of 44 million euros. This sum is made up of 40 million euros in credit lines from various refinancing partners and 4 million euros in equity from existing investors such as InnoVentureFonds and Seventure Partners.
Flexvelop was founded in 2018 by Dr. Hans-Christian Stockfisch, a former officer in the German Armed Forces and graduate of Helmut Schmidt University (HSU). With its “Flexen” solution, the company offers a flexible alternative to traditional leasing and purchasing models for companies. This model combines the advantages of rental, leasing and credit and enables companies to finance devices and equipment flexibly.
Flexvelop plans to use the new capital to drive forward its expansion, expand partnerships with dealers and manufacturers and finance larger order volumes. Dr. Stockfisch emphasized the importance of this financing for the company’s growth and thanked all investors and banks for their trust.
This success marks an important step in the development of Flexvelop and underlines the company’s potential to change the market for equipment financing in the long term.
