The Hamburg startup VisioPlan has been selected for EXIST funding phase II – an important step on the way to scaling its innovative VR technology.
VisioPlan develops immersive virtual reality software that makes it possible to experience buildings realistically even before they are built. In the second EXIST phase, the focus is now on the integration of artificial intelligence: the aim is to significantly accelerate the previous, complex production process and take automation to a new level – from texturing to the provision of high-quality 3D models.
In future, users will even be able to virtually furnish entire houses by voice – individually and intuitively. VisioPlan’s AI is already converting spoken feedback from clients directly into structured planning instructions that appear in the planning team’s web app. AI is also used for image processing: screenshots from the VR environment are automatically developed into impressive renderings – efficiently and cost-effectively.
The EXIST program is funding the project with €240,000 over 12 months, supporting not only the expansion of the technology, but also the transfer into practice.
VisioPlan is currently receiving advice at the Hamburg University of Technology’s Startup Port @TUHH start-up center – proof of the close connection between science, applied research and entrepreneurship. The AI.STARTUP.HUB is also supporting the team in its further development.
With a tailwind from the funding, VisioPlan is ready for the next leap and impressively demonstrates how the future is built before it begins.
